Almedalsveckan is Sweden's annual week of political debate and public dialogue, held in and around Almedalen park in Visby on Gotland. Parliamentary parties, public agencies, businesses, trade unions and civil society organisations run thousands of open seminars, speeches and discussions attended by politicians, journalists, lobbyists and members of the public.
